The Story Behind the 2026 Mystics Almanac Divination

The path into the 2026 divination was anything but straightforward. As the summer solstice of 2025 approached, my daughter Ember and I prepared to perform the divination for the upcoming 2026 Mystics Almanac. But this year was unlike any before. Much of the spring and summer had been spent in and out of the hospital with my soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Gabby Rose, a magical songbird we've called family since she was eleven. Between tending to family crisis, the last stages of completing the new Mystics Headquarters, and the absence of sacred quiet, it was difficult to find the space to hold ceremony. Ends and beginnings swirled all around us.
