Tell us about you and what you do, and tell us about your family:

My name is Robin Ray Green I'm a mother of two boys an well as an acupuncturist, author, and speaker. I help women and children restore their health and well-being by tapping into the ancient wisdom of the Five Elements. I do this through my book, Heal Your Child from the Inside Out, my blog, and in my online trainings for acupuncturists. When we live aligned with the Five Elements we can create more ease, flow, health and happiness. We can be the best parents we want to be and take the steps to make sure our children thrive. In my clinic I provide acupuncture and I also work with clients remotely using Five Element Healing sessions. As our Elements come back into balance so does everything else.

How do you stay healthy, resilient and vibrant?

It all starts with my core routines, a healthy diet, and exercise. I start my daily with a flexible morning practice that includes journaling, Qigong, and meditation. I make sure to pause, breathe, and take a few minutes to come back into the present moment throughout the day. But, it wasn't always this way. I used to put my own self care last, but I've realized that starting with epic self care for myself means I can really show up for all the people in my life that I care for and serve them even better!

What does being a Mystic look like on a daily basis?

For me, it's really simple practices that help me stay connected to Spirit and my higher self and tap into my intuition. This includes things like journaling each morning, planning my week with the Five Elements in mind, creating sacred space, meditating, and making sure my day is started and ended with gratitude.

Tell us about your path to creating your path right livelihood (and what does Right Livelihood mean to you)

My journey to this specialty started simply from a desire to help my infant son heal from a severe case of eczema that wasn’t responding to Western medical treatments. Only after I began treating him with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary changes did his eczema begin to resolve. As I shared my son’s story with my patients, they’d tell me that their children suffered from conditions that I knew could be treated with holistic care and acupuncture. Inspired by my child’s recovery, my patients began to bring their kids in for treatment, too. And as word spread about how I had helped these kids with conditions such as colic, constipation, cough, and ear infections, I began seeing even more children in my office—and this is how my family practice was born. The lives of thousands of kids around the world have been dramatically impacted through my own practice as well as the acupuncturists whom I trained to work with kids.

How have you integrated your innate talent and Mystic Arts into your life? What challenges did you face in this integrative process?

I've slowly been weaving mystic practices into my trainings by bringing wheels and rings into the Five Element framework as well as my online trainings. In addition, I've created a new type of service that I can offer in person and remotely called a Five Element Healing Session. During the sessions I bring my together my intuitive healing skills, the Five Elements, and energy clearing to powerfully shift things - body, mind, and spirit.

What important lesson would you share with an earlier version of yourself, or to somebody who is just now exploring what a mystical path might mean to them?

I would say that they need to TRUST themselves! They have all the wisdom and answers they need inside, if only they slow down, and turn within. Then trust the answers and not let fear or doubt influence their decisions.

If there was only one thing a person could find the energy and resources to make a priority, what should it be?

Morning and evening practices and rituals have had the biggest impact on shifting myself out of hustle and struggle and back into a place of ease and flow.
